The app isn't showing users in my Nearby Users. What should I do?

Make sure Neer Social location access is set to While Using the App and Show in Discovery is on in Settings > Location. Then refresh Discover; if it still fails, restart or reinstall the app.

Messages aren't sending. How can I fix this?

Check your Wi-Fi or cellular connection, then close and reopen the chat. Messages also won't send if the other person has blocked you; if the problem continues, contact Support.

My profile photo won't upload or save. What's wrong?

Make sure the photo is a JPG or PNG under 20 MB, Neer has photo library access, and your connection is stable. If it still won't upload, try a different photo.

I'm not receiving notifications. How do I enable them?

Turn on notifications in iPhone Settings > Notifications > Neer Social. Then choose the alerts you want in the app under Settings > Notifications.

The app keeps crashing. What should I do?

Force-close and reopen the app, then check for updates. If it keeps crashing, reinstall the app or contact Support.

How much data does Neer Social use?

Messaging and browsing use roughly 10 to 40 MB per hour. Photos and videos, including posts, can use 100 MB or more per hour, so Wi-Fi is best for heavy use.

Why am I not appearing in other people's Discover?

Make sure Neer has While Using the App location access and Show in Discovery is on in Settings > Location. If Discovery Privacy is Friends Only, only your friends can see you.

The Discover page is loading very slowly.

This can happen when many people are nearby or your connection is slow. Close and reopen the app; if it keeps happening, contact Support.

How do I clear the app cache?

Go to iPhone Settings > General > iPhone Storage > Neer Social. Offload App frees space but keeps app data, while Delete App removes local data; reinstall from the App Store afterward. Your Neer account is not deleted.

What are the minimum system requirements?

Neer Social is available on iPhone only and requires iOS 15.1 or later.
