Customize your Neer Social experience and manage your profile.

How do I edit my profile information?

Go to Settings > Edit Profile to update your name, bio, interests, photos, and social media links.

Who can see my profile?

If Show in Discovery is on, people using Neer can find your profile, or only friends if Discovery Privacy is Friends Only. Turn off Show in Discovery in Settings > Location to hide from Nearby Users and search. Others can still discover you through chats, events, or posts.

How many photos can I upload?

You can add one profile photo and up to 20 highlight photos in Settings > Edit Profile. Clear photos of your face and interests help people get to know you.

Can I change my name?

Yes. Go to Settings > Personal Details > Name. Your name appears on your profile and is visible to other users.

What are interests and how do I add them?

Interests help you find people with things in common. Add up to 10 from categories like Sports, Music, Technology, and Travel in Settings > Edit Profile.

How do I change my age or birthdate?

For security, you can't change your birthdate after creating your account. If it was entered incorrectly, you'll need to create a new account.

Can I use a nickname instead of my real name?

Yes. You can use any name you prefer on your profile; keep in mind that it is visible to other users.
