Posts are photos, videos, text, and polls shared in the Post tab. You can like, comment on, and vote on what others share.

Open the Post tab and start a new post. Choose a photo, video, text, or poll, then add a caption, stickers, and up to three topics.

You choose when your post expires: 12 hours, 24 hours, 2 days, or 7 days. After it expires, it disappears and is permanently deleted along with its likes, votes, and comments.

By default, people using Neer can see your posts. If you belong to a supported campus, you can share a post only with people at your school.

Yes. Choose Anonymous instead of Visible name, and other people see "Anonymous" instead of your name and photo. Switching also updates your existing posts and comments. Your account is still linked to what you post, so anonymous content is moderated like everything else.

Tap a post to open its comments, where you can comment, reply, and like comments. You can delete your own comments, and post authors can pin or remove comments on their posts.

Sort by Relevance, Latest, or Popular. You can also filter by Photos, Videos, Polls, or Text, browse by topic, or search.

Yes. Open the post menu and tap Share to send it to a friend or group chat, where it appears as a post card they can open.

Both are official posts written by the Neer Social team. University posts share campus news and are not posted by, affiliated with, or endorsed by any university.

To delete your post, open the post menu and tap Delete post. To report one, choose Report post and pick a reason; to report a comment, tap the flag next to it.

Yes. You can be notified about likes, comments, replies to your comments, and post or poll milestones. Manage these in Settings > Notifications.
